Radio Ragga

I’ve been on and off the airwaves since 2005 and while I don’t have a comprehensive collection of the shows I have done, here is a slate of the broadcasts I was able to save. They are in two sections, with myself as host, and those where I guested and co-hosted. All in convenient podcast format.

As host:
SOUND THE SIRENS RADIO
In 2005, I started Sound the Sirens Radio on LaTrobe’s now defunct Sub FM. It was just me playing 2-hours of music I liked, really loud. Occasionally I filled the studio with my friends. We sang punk rock karaoke once. It was terrible. For a few months, we were also the selected Sub FM show on Melbourne’s SYN 90.7 (a real radio station). It was a blast! I was able to save one show from that time.

Sub On Syn (August 13th, 2005)

As co-host:
ROCK 101
Co-hosting with Brad, we occasionally ramble off into incoherent tangents while rocking some of our favorite tunes. We tend to be band-centric when doing shows, but every now and then when we’ve exhausted avenues, we’ll do a classy “variety” show.

The Punk Explosion [1994-1998] (July 5th, 2008)
Bad Religion (June 21st, 2008)
Mark Lanegan (June 15th, 2008)
Variety: All-Australian (May 24th, 2008)
Minor Threat (April 19th, 2008)
Modern Life Is War (March 29th, 2008)
Bad Brains (March 8th, 2008)
